The Occult

Ju-on: The Grudge has been just like any other occult movie, with all of the haunted houses, supernatural, etc. Basically the movie is talking about a house with the supernatural still lingering on the inside. Directors now and days find the kick out of making movies based on the occult, only because America likes a good scare and also because directors like to keep them on the edge of their seats. Every horror movie is mostly based on the occult, not just Ju-on The Grudge but also Amityville Horror, An American Werewolf and so on and so for. They even have shows discussing the occult, for instance, I was watching TLC and the show I was watching was saying how Louisiana has vampires an in my head I'm thinking how could that be so, but that's just one of America's fascination with the occult world, but even then being obsessed with the occult still scares us senseless into believing all of these things movies portray is real when in actuality its just what we make up to keep us scared.
